OMG you guys, this song still makes me cry every time I hear it. Heart is just timeless.It brings back memories of those gym dances that cost 3 bucks..like the scene from Sixteen Candles.

Did you know that Carrie Bradshaw aka SJP could dance her ass off? I love the 80's, so fashion forward..lol!

Television Show of the Day

This was one of the best cartoons of the 80s, but didn't it always seem like a movie only animated. I've been so disappointed by all of the "comebacks" appearing on the big screen. Basically, studios are banking on 80s kids who want to live vicariously through their own children..lol! Unfortunately, the newer generation has no idea what great is.

I Know You Had This...Girls Only

This was such an influential book on my pre-teen years.
The most memorable line was, " I must I must I must increase my bust!" Well I always said the opposite. I was a healthy B cup by the time I was in 5th grade...lol!

Television Show of the Day

Now this show ended in 1981, but the re-runs stayed on all throughout my puberty years.

Song of the Day

The Song of the Day is Cruel Summer by Bananarama. I played it on my radio station Tuesday and the listeners went bananas!! I can remember a lot of Cruel Summers in my 80's. How fitting that I found the clip of Karate Kid that featured the song.
